The Krewe of Argus will now parade alongside the St. Patrick’s Metairie Road Parade. The combined route begins at 41st Street and Severn Avenue, proceeding down Metairie Road, turning left on Focis Street, and ending at Canal Street. Founded in 1971, the St. Patrick Parade of Jefferson has been taking to the streets of Old Metairie for over fifty years in celebration of St. Patrick’s Day.
